Statement on MSM Quality and Source

All of our pure MSM products are just that - pure. They do not contain any fillers such as silicates, salt, starch, etc. When you purchase from us, be assured that you are receiving 99.6% to 99.9% pure MSM. The remainder is just a little water which is naturally attracted to MSM.

All of the MSM that we offer is processed at Cardinal Nutrition's laboratory under Robert Herschler's patents with the trademark OptiMSM™. This is the only facility licensed to produce food grade MSM. They use a distillation chamber method of production. This process insures that there are no pollutants in the MSM.

There is quite a bit of MSM being imported from India and China these days. A number of distributors are now purchasing from these sources because this MSM is quite inexpensive. Some of them purchase from Cardinal Nutrition as well. That way they can say that they carry the patented MSM.

We will not carry MSM from these sources for several reasons; not the least of which is that we can not be certain as to the purity of any given batch. Commercial MSM is made from DMSO and, if the DMSO is contaminated, impurities and possible pollutants can be introduced into the MSM.

Every bottle or jar of MSM that we offer is professionally packaged with an inner and outer seal. It, also, has a lot number on the bottom. This is the only way to verify where the MSM was produced. The documentation matching the lot number with Cardinal Nutrition is available upon request.

A synopsis of the laboratory analysis of the exact MSM that we offer for sale is attached. When you purchase from us, you are receiving a product which is worthy of human consumption.

* So that you have an idea of what you are getting for your money: Associated with each MSM item we have provided an estimate of how long a bottle will last. It is based upon taking a total of 4 grams (1 pharmacist's teaspoon or 0.80 kitchen teaspoon) of MSM a day. This is not necessarily a suggested daily amount; it simply gives you a way to gauge the relative value of each item.
